Types of tattoo grips and beaks, which grip diameter to choose
Grips in the Orakon store can be selected from a wide range of conventional tubes, Gray Grips and Gray Grips Memory Foam grips. The diameter of the grips is defined in millimeters from 15 to 40 mm. When choosing bows, pipes and grips for tattoos, we should follow this parameter, trying to adjust it to the size of the hand. For small hands, a smaller diameter will be the best, but remember that the larger the diameter, the less the hand gets tired during long work. If you are not sure, we recommend taking a medium grip.
How to choose the right grip and tip for a tattoo needle?
When adjusting tattoo bows to our equipment and needs, we follow the following nomenclature. We distinguish tattoo beaks:
R (Round) - for round needles
F (Flat) - for flat needles. They can be OF (open) or CF (closed).
D (Diamond). For round needles.
Choose a grip with the same marking (size) as the needles.
